Terravista Vineyards

Terravista Vineyards brings something a little different to the Naramata Bench, specialising in small-lot white wines made from Spanish varietals, produced with a low environmental footprint.

Owners (and experienced BC winemakers) Bob and Senka decided to showcase two white grape varieties when they purchased the property a decade ago. The chosen two were Albariño and Verdejo, grapes not commonly seen in the southern Okanagan wine region.

Since then, Terravista has expanded and now also grows Syrah and Pinot Noir grapes. Additional grapes from select growers are sourced to round out their small but carefully produced portfolio of wines.

Matching the winery’s unusual varietals, the Terravista facility features an architectural style not seen anywhere else on the Bench. Tastings are held in the airy barrel/production room or on the patio in front of the tasting room. Either way, there are great views of the building, vineyards and a hint of Okanagan Lake.

Terravista Vineyards is a great pick for Naramata Bench visitors looking for something a little different, an off-the-beaten-path experience. And, of course, fans of white Spanish varietals will likely love it!
