Evolve Sparkling House

Opening in July 2025, Evolve Sparkling House is the newest winery tasting room on the Naramata Bench. It has gained a lot of attention quickly, thanks to its impressive positioning right above Okanagan Lake and modern Instagram friendly style. The ambience is friendly and fun, though also elegant.

There’s no doubt about it, the views from the tasting room are absolutely gorgeous and the seating areas have been designed with it in mind. It really does feel like a special occasion to be here, particularly as Evolve’s focus is sparkling wines. The light bites menu has also been given an elevated touch (think oysters, salmon, local cheese).

Evolve is part of the TIME Family of Wines, a family owned business originally founded by BC wine industry pioneer Henry McWatters. Purchased in 2020 by Ron and Shelley Mayert, the couple are bringing the brand to new heights and audiences, with Evolve being a great example of this vision.

There are two levels of seating at the Sparkling House, with the upper floor usually reserved for club members. Choose between three types of tasting – the mid level ‘Flight Mode’ ($25 in 2025) includes $10 redeemble towards a purchase.

Access the tasting room from Lower Beach Road (close to Poplar Grove) or by foot/bike right from the KVR Trail. It’s only 350m from the Vancouver Place trailhead, making it an ideal destination on a walking wine tour. The tasting room is open fairly late too, until 6pm.
