Roche Wines

Vive la Joie de Vivre! The husband-wife winemaking team at Roche Wines honour the timeless techniques of traditional French winemaking while also focusing on modern sustainability.

Pénélope Roche was born into a winemaking tradition in Bordeaux; her family owned Chateau Les Carmes Haut-Brion for six generations. BC local Dylan Roche’s wine resume is impressive, spanning the Chablis, Beaune, Pauillac, Bordeaux and Margaux regions.

As such, the couple brings a wealth of worldly experience and knowledge (or savoir-faire) to their hands-on, holistic and sustainable approach to winemaking. They are responsible for work both in the vineyard and the cellar, ensuring the high-quality nature of the final product.

Roche Wine tastings are held both inside and outdoors, with the small but stylish tasting room being most often used during the cooler seasons. The sunny patio is located to the side of the property with views of the winery’s vineyards and Campbell Mountain.
