Lock & Worth Winery

Lock & Winery maintains a purist approach to winemaking, focusing on single vineyard wines that are unrefined and unfiltered. A ‘hands-off’ approach is utilised.

Less than 1000 cases of Lock & Worth wines are produced each year. Think high-quality terroir-driven wines made simply, bottled in a straightforward way and priced reasonably. The winery states that their wines are not for everyone and I like their honesty!

Staying with the simplicity theme, the collection of wines is small and succinct. Think Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Kerner, Rosé and Merlot (plus blends).

Lock & Worth used to share a tasting room with Poplar Grove Cheese for decades. Unfortunately, the tasting room was recently closed due to red tape. Consequently, at the time of this update, I’m not sure what the current status is.
