Howling Bluff Estate Wines

A welcoming place just off the main drag of Naramata Road, Howling Bluff may not have a wide selection of wines but each is distinctively theirs. And as they say, quality over quantity!

The Pinot Noir is consistently a favourite with wine critics and enthusiasts, winning the Lieutenant Governor Award for Excellence in BC Wine several times. Needless to say, if you have Pinot Noir fans in your group, Howling Bluff is a must-stop.

Wine tasting at Howling Bluff (how gorgeous are these glasses?!)

Owner and winemaker Luke was previously an investment banker in Vancouver and his family pitch in everywhere from vineyard work to running the tasting room. This results in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with very little pretension.

Wine tastings are offered on the sunny multi-level patio, which offers beautiful (yet unusual!) canyon and vineyard views, with a hint of lake peeking through. Olive oil tastings with local bread are available for an additional fee. Guests can also enjoy a glass of their favourite wine after the tasting.
