Boasting strikingly modern architecture with spectacular vineyard and lake views, Painted Rock Estate Winery offers one of the most elegant and scenic wine-tasting experiences in the Penticton area.
To match, the ultra-premium wines (100% estate grown) highlight rich flavours with complexity and balance. The winery primarily focuses on Bordeaux red varieties as well as Chardonnay and Syrah.
Sip and savour a premium wine-tasting flight on the sun-drenched patio while enjoying the ambience of this uniquely grand Penticton winery.
Named for the Indigenous pictographs located on the property, Painted Rock is a very popular wedding and events destination. Though it is still relatively close to the city (15 minutes drive), the location feels surprisingly remote and private. The winery occupies 56 acres across the sunny west-facing bench.
Despite the opulent surroundings, it is interesting to note that Painted Rock remains a family-owned and operated winery.
The Skinners are dedicated to sustainability in wine production, having eliminated the use of all non-organic farming measures more than 10 years ago. Solar panels produce enough power to operate the winery and then some.
