Perched high on a hill overlooking Okanagan Lake, visiting the sprawling Mediterranean inspired complex of Lake Breeze is like stepping into a little piece of Italy. The first wines on this property were planted in 1985, making them some of the oldest on the Naramata Bench.

Lang Vineyards

Opening in 1990, Lang Vineyards is British Columbia’s first ‘farm gate’ winery. Despite humble beginnings, the winery has grown substantially and consistently produces an array of high quality, well-crafted wines.

MOCOJO Winery

Hosting one of the best views from any winery on the Naramata Bench, Mocojo’s has some tasty wines to match. Lovingly owned and operated by the Oh family, the winery is named after their three children (the first two initials from each in birth order).

Moraine Estate Winery

Located right on Naramata Road, Moraine is one of the most convenient Naramata Bench wineries to visit. It’s also one of the most impressive, with the grand wine shop and tasting room offering unrestricted panoramas of the surrounding vineyards and Okanagan Lake.

Bench 1775 Winery

Named after the address of the winery, Bench 1775 is easy to locate on Naramata Road. Bench 1775 is best known for its spectacular patio overlooking Okanagan Lake. And spectacular it truly is!

Black Widow Winery

Wine tourers have a good chance to be served by the founding couple or their children at Black Widow, a small yet underrated family owned and operated winery on Naramata Road. The winery’s name is accredited to the black widow spiders common in the vineyard and throughout the Okanagan Valley.

Laughing Stock Vineyards

Trust us, this winery isn’t one to be laughed at. The double entendre name was coined when the owners decided to leave lucrative careers in the financial industry and follow a dream to open their own winery. aughing Stock Vineyards takes pride in trying more unusual winemaking methods, currently using concrete egg fermenters and experimenting with Italian clay amphorae.

Howling Bluff Estate Wines

A welcoming place just off the main drag, Howling Bluff may not have a wide selection of wines but each is distinctively theirs. The Pinot Noir is consistently a favourite with wine critics and enthusiasts, winning Lieutenant Governor Award for Excellence in BC Wine a number of times.

Origin Wines

Wesbert Winery

Located right on Naramata Road, Wesbert is one of the newer names on the Naramata bench. The Joubert family, originally from South Africa, took over the winery in 2019.
